The fifth month of 2024 has now passed us by.
It's been a bit of a mixed month hobby-wise, i got to meet up with Cardboard Fortress and Fraser at the beginning of the month and olay some games, much fun was had rolling the bones.
Then it just seemed to devolve into a slog at work, with never-ending shifts on the new train contract which ate into my hobby time a lot.
Purchasing wise this month was made up of only two purchases hobby-wise, both of a Chaotic and Beastly nature!
First up are these Bestigor, I picked up very cheap off of eBay.
With Games Workshop pulling the Beastmen range to repackage for The Old World, it's become harder to find them.
This auction popped up and so I had a flutter.
20 Bestigor for £14 was a bargain, they have since been stripped, cleaned up, revised for texture and primed, now awaiting the time to paint the army.
The second purchase are these 10 Ungor, which I bought new at Element Games and have built as you can see.

A slow month overall, the Beastmen are for The Old World, which I got to have a learning game of and really enjoyed it.
I've already got a 1200 point Empire army in a box which I can fix up and paint, the Beastmen will be a counter army to face those and so that's what these purchases will be going towards.
I'm going to get them all built and primed but leave off painting until I can get the entire force, so that it'll be easier to get a consistent finish across all of them.
